Sales Director

We are actively looking for a Sales Director experienced in Construction & Building Materials sales to join our growing and expanding team! The Sales Director will be responsible for taking charge of driving sales growth and building lasting customer relationships, leading a dedicated sales team, and providing guidance and support to achieve revenue targets efficiently. As the Sales Director you will also be responsible for developing and over-seeing sales processes and best practices for the sales team.

Job Type: Full Time, On-site

Responsibilities for the Sales Director:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the building materials market.
  • Lead and mentor a sales team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to maximize their productivity and effectiveness.
  • Occasionally travel between store locations to meet with Sales teams.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, contractors, and construction professionals to generate new business opportunities and foster customer loyalty.
  • Promotional campaigns and sales materials that effectively showcase the company's product offerings and competitive advantages.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement and market expansion.
  • Oversee the sales process, from lead generation to order fulfillment, ensuring seamless coordination with internal departments and timely delivery of products to customers.
  • Analyze sales data and prepare reports for management, providing insights and recommendations to enhance sales performance and market positioning.

Requirements of the Sales Director:

  • Proven history of long-term success in a Sales Leadership role.
  • Experience managing Sales teams across multiple locations
  • 5+ years of Sales Management experience, ideally within the building materials industry.
  • Strong knowledge of building materials and construction supplies is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer relation skills.
  • Proficient utilizing various CRM software
